Hey Reader,
I hope you're doing well! I have some big announcements to make today! Let's dive in!
Last week, I asked you to comment on the style of my blog. Was the font just right? Was the site layout easy to read? You gave me some incredible feedback, which helped me realize what I should look for in themes to make it easier for you to read.
I chose a new theme with lots of features, and its font is also very easy on the eyes. The site looks Super on Mobile! I know many of you browse from your phones or tablets, so I made sure to choose a theme that invests in mobile readability as well.
You can see the new site here:

Let me know what you think!
I'm officially opening subscriptions on my blog! There are currently two plans: $5/month or $50/year.
The prices are likely to go up when I finish moving most of my posts from outside Medium's paywall and into my own and add more new content. (that's almost 5,000,000 words and counting!)
That's not the only reason you should subscribe now. Here are some more benefits:
You can access these rewards on a new page on my blog called Subscriber Rewards. I will keep adding new benefits to it only for paying subscribers! So expect some more treats coming your way soon! I'm always looking for ways to make sure my subscription prices deliver a lot more value than the actual price!
Visit the subscriber rewards page to grab your free course. It will show that you need to be a subscriber to view this page. Finish the subscription process, and this page will become available to you:

I also want to share a page I made on my Notion that shows my subscriber goals! You wouldn't believe how small they are and how life-changing they can be for me! See the Subscriber goals here: Subscriber Goals on Notion.
That said, I do want to take a moment to say that my usual content like blog posts, YouTube videos, and more, are all staying the same and open for everybody. I do try to transform that into a living, though. Offering subscriptions is the next logical step for something I love doing anyway.
Back when I was still on my original self-hosted blog, I also had a Patreon account. In fact, it's still active, but not for long. So, now that I'm on Ghost's paid plan, I'm going to close down my Patreon. I don't want to be charging money on multiple fronts.
All of my Patreon Supporters' names have been moved to a thank you page on the new blog and will stay there. If you want to keep supporting me, that page also has a Subscribe link.
I'm so grateful to have you on this journey. Whether you decide to support my creative endeavors financially or not, I'll still keep making awesome content. At this point in my life, if I can't pivot from my career to making content full-time or at least most of the time in the coming year or two, I simply won't.
I want to make it happen, and it all hangs on making great content for people to enjoy!

Hey Dragon, I hope life has been kind to you since last we spoke :) Over the last few months, I've been dealing with a lot of stress. Whether it was my finances, my physical health, or even my mental health, everything felt like too much. It's also not helpful that I'm a Highly Sensitive Person. So, unless you're like me, I experience the world in 8K while neurotypical people experience life in 4k. So, I'm taking a deep breath to say that I need a break. The content creation journey is too...
